Indie Horror Film The Nursery Releases Its First Trailer
Indie Horror Film Shares First Trailer This Week with its 60,000 Facebook Fans
Madison, WI – The indie horror film The Nursery gave its nearly 60,000 Facebook fans a big treat earlier this week, releasing its first trailer exclusively to its Facebook fan base, and the film’s social community responded enthusiastically. The Nursery’s Executive Producers Glenn Chung, Chris Micklos, and Jay Sapiro said they were extremely excited to give their fans a sneak peek at the recently-completed film.
“The Nursery has been a fan-focused project right from the start,” said Chung, who also produced many of the visual effects for the film, “so we were really eager to get our first trailer in front of our great fans and enjoy their reactions and responses.”

The Nursery is a micro-budget, independent horror movie in the tradition of Halloween, Phantasm, and House of the Devil. When a damaged college sophomore babysits for a family with a tragic past, she finds herself stalked by a sinister presence and haunted by ghosts from her own past. Soon, she and her friends must confront the angry spirit hunting them down one-by-one on a deliberate march toward its ultimate prey.
The Nursery has made fan outreach and engagement a priority during development and production of the film, using social media to share production updates and behind-the-scenes photos, exclusive stills, and more fan-friendly content throughout the filmmaking process. Horror fans have responded enthusiastically by helping The Nursery build a huge social following of nearly 60,000 Facebook fans even before the film was completed. The Nursery was recently named an Official Selection of the Halloween Horror Picture Show 2017.
